I am a writer and activist living in Portland, Oregon with my husband and our two children. In 2010, our son Seamus was killed by a careless driver in a crosswalk. Since then, I’ve written about my experience of grief and loss, and also spent time working for better healthcare and safer streets so that no one else has to experience what we did. I created this website to connect with other activists, and so that people would have an easy way to find my writing.
